It’s a lovely summer day in Durban and we thought to ourselves, why not use this beautiful light to our advantage and do what we do best “Lights, Camera, Pose”. The shoot was then inspired by cokes catch phrase “Taste Summer”, simply because, well! The thirst was real and so we decided to drink a little coke. We drew inspiration from coke’s branding details; we looked at how the black, white and the red go so well together. Luckily for us we have comparable T-shirt’s so it was settled then that we pair off the T-shirts with denim shorts and statement shoes to complete the look.  Off to the shoot we headed and while scouting for a location we spotted really cool convenience stores along the Embankment of the Durban harbor and decided to try the spot out. A cool store owner kindly agreed for us to use his shop as our shoot location and we went town with it. Happy New Year lovelies we hope you had a blast breaking into the new year cause we sure did… Its the beautiful season of summer here in South Africa however we do get those chilly or heavy rainy days once in while. Fufu experienced one of those days in Durban and decided to put together a quick and easy look using classic colors that we all have in our wardrobe which are Navy, White and Sand dune brown. This look also incorporates layering to ensure that you stay warm and stylish at the same time. The beauty of blogging is that, just like that personal diary, you can take a break from writing and explore other ways of living and expressing yourself. So, we got sent Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray by Rubybox to test and tell, and boy! we are impressed with this product. Now forget stressing about irritated skin, rash and the after shaving math. This easy to use product is a must have. I was working on an event onsite for just over a week, and I already knew that my skin is going to go south and I would have to stress about fixing once my event was over.  I hate looking drab even if i'm not wearing any make-up i still strive for a good skin glow, and I honestly hate wearing my exhaustion on my face.
