What do you think of the fashion industry is doing an initiative like this?
I feel like Fashion is a very big industry, it’s very broad, so I feel like it is about time we do something that gives back to our communities, we can afford to, we have to.
What does it mean to you to be a part of this show?
I am honestly honoured to be a part of this initiative.
What looks should be expect to see on the runway from your collection?
Although these are the same pieces I have been showcasing at the show from my “Africa Studies” collection, it is nice to see them being worn by actual people and for a good cause.
he show, which was held at Sandton City with the support of About Entertainment and producer/director Jan Malan of Umzingeli Productions was an honour to have been a part of. The overwhelming feeling of seeing some big names humble themselves and partake on such an auspicious event, was great to witness.
